Riley McVeigh
Director of Goaltending Development
Riley McVeigh was born in Calgary Alberta, Canada. Riley Played high school hockey in Calgary for the Calgary International Hockey Academy in the CSSHL. After high school, Riley went on to play Tier 2 Junior A hockey in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) for the Virden Oil Capitals. After two successful seasons in Virden, Riley entered college hockey where he played one year of NCAA hockey at Stevenson University before transferring to the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire where he would finish out his last 3 years of NCAA college hockey. Riley graduated with a degree in Business Management with an emphasis in entrepreneurship. After the completion of his studies, Riley went on to play one year of minor professional Hockey. Riley moved to Minnesota at the conclusion of the 2022/2023 season and has been training goalies in the Twin City area for the past year.
Riley is currently the Goaltending Coach for Bethel University (NCAA Div III). He has successfully trained and developed goalies at each level for almost 10 years and helped them progress to reach their goals. He has created a specific and detailed training program to meet the needs of each goaltender to allow them to play at the next level. Riley is well connected at the Junior level as well as at the NCAA college level. Riley’s goal is not only to develop and create elite-level goaltenders but to set up our athletes for success, whether that be in hockey or not.
